CLAAS Customer Goes "Vertical"
The Story of Olander Farms...
RFD TV's "American Farmer" recently caught up with CLAAS and an interesting customer of ours in Loveland, Colorado.
Olander Farms is not your typical agricultural operation. They grow small grains on the front range of the Rockies. They also harvest forage crops for the local dairies. Moreover, for the last 30 years, Coors Brewing Company has been a customer of theirs. Most recently, they have opened their own malting company called Root Shoot Malting to meet the demands of microbreweries in the Greeley, Loveland and Denver markets.
Instead of allowing market prices to dictate the value of their work, they have worked hard to increase their efficiency and add value to everything they do. When it comes to efficiency, they rely on CLAAS equipment. Their combines, forage harvester, tractor and triple mower all carry the CLAAS brand. They work hard to deliver value in everything they produce. From the silage they chop to the grains they grow (and process), the Olanders are laser focused on delivering more through their unique and vertically integrated businesses. Check out their story (and ours) recently aired on American Farmer . . .
