COMING SOON: CLAAS Academy’s Grand Opening
CLAAS Academy is a new, state-of-the-art training facility for CLAAS employees and dealer technicians. A part of the CLAAS of America campus in Omaha, NE, the new facility is designed to enhance the training experience of CLAAS dealers and is home to the CLAAS apprenticeship program. Equipped with the very latest tools and technology, it is the perfect classroom environment for learning about CLAAS equipment.
New Head of CLAAS Academy Felicia Nichelson says the trainers and facility will help operators by providing greater expertise on all CLAAS equipment.
“We are going to upscale the technicians that service our equipment,” she explains. “CLAAS already has the best technicians in the industry, and now the Academy will help fine-tune their skillsets so growers experience less downtime.”
The facility is 20,000-square-feet and provides the space for technicians to get their hands on everything from LEXION combines to JAGUAR harvesters and AXION tractors. The new space will also be equipped with video production and broadcasting equipment to facilitate online learning experiences as well, when travel to Omaha is not an option.
“We recognize the importance of continuing a high level of service and support, so we want to train dealers in the best way possible,” explains Adam Haworth, Director of Services, CLAAS of America. “This new facility will have room for more equipment and training, and it is climate controlled, so we can train all year.”
