Ag Professionals:

Survey Says: Growers Are Ready for Live Events!

Predictive assumptions were put to rest as CLAAS surveyed customers to check the pulse of growers when it comes to virtual shows versus live events. Understandably, much was out of our control in 2020, however there is light at the end of the tunnel as growers have a positive outlook in 2021.

Virtual farm shows haven’t been popular with growers overall, so you may not have been able to stay as connected as you’d like. And let’s face it, the web just can’t replace conversations with fellow growers and experts, hearing speakers in person, and kicking the tires and getting your hands on the latest equipment.

Plus, while webinars and tele-meetings can work well, there’s no doubt that growers like you are ready to get back to meeting face to face – sooner rather than later.

Here’s What You Told Us:

More than half of those surveyed said they’d be ready for a “non-virtual” farm show as early as this spring. More than 60% said they’d be willing to stay overnight, rather than return home the same day.

Nearly 70% haven’t attended a virtual farm show, and you don’t intend to, either. Those who have attended felt they didn’t get much from it as they don’t like listening to speakers or interacting with vendors virtually.

We Heard You:

CLAAS asked, and we’re listening. We can’t wait to get back to live farm shows and demonstrations, and we are especially excited to see you in person when we can in 2021.
