Headwinds, Tailwinds and Market Trends
Eric Raby, President and General Manager of CLAAS of America, recently had the chance to chat with Sara Jensen on the OEM Industry Update podcast. The discussion went in several different directions, but the primary focus was on the state of the ag equipment industry and how CLAAS is positioning itself during these “unique” times.
The outlook, it turns out, has been very positive. Overall, Raby feels that the favorable commodity prices and new technology introductions will be key drivers for the agricultural equipment market in 2021. And, while he sees both tailwinds and headwinds affecting the forecast, overall his outlook is cautiously optimistic.
